New Developments in Biochemical Wine Analysis

Many of the Megazyme test kits for wine analysis are based on the traditional Boehringer Mannheim Methods of Analysis, but with improved reagent stability and more rapid reaction rates. However, Megazyme also provides a range of test kits with new biochemistry and for new analytes. 

Extended Stability of Co-factors in Megazyme Test Kits 

NAD(H) / NADP(H) co-factors have been formulated to provide extended stability in solution

  • Co-factor powders (as supplied) are stable for > 4 years when frozen 
  •  Co-factor solutions (after dissolving) are stable for > 1 year when refrigerated 
  •  No requirement to aliquot or freeze / thaw co-factor solutions
