Pieta House, the centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide in Ireland, held its annual 5km Darkness into Light fundraising run on Saturday the 11th of May at 4am. An estimated 30,000 people turned out at 20 locations around the country to show support for suicide prevention, including the flagship run at Phoenix Park, Dublin. Eleven staff members from Megazyme took part in the Phoenix park run to show their support for the valuable work done by Pieta House.
