|Formulation:||In 3.2 M ammonium sulphate|
|Stability:||Minimum 1 year at 4oC. Check vial for details.|
|Synonyms:||(d)CMP kinase; ATP:CMP phosphotransferase; UMP-CMP kinase|
|Concentration:||Supplied at ~ 125 U/mL|
|Expression:||Recombinant from a Prokaryotic source|
Catalyses the reaction:
ATP + (d)CMP = ADP + (d)CDP
The prokaryotic cytidine monophosphate kinase specifically phosphorylates CMP (or dCMP), using ATP as the preferred phosphoryl donor.
|Specific Activity:||~ 15 U/mg (25oC, pH 7.6 on CMP)|
|Unit Definition:||One Unit of cytidylate kinase is defined as the amount of enzyme required to produce one µmole of CDP from CMP and ATP per minute, in the presence of NADH, in TEA buffer (73 mM), pH 7.6 at 25oC.|
|Application examples:||Applications in the measurement of CMP.|
High purity recombinant Cytidylate kinase (prokaryote) for use in research, biochemical enzyme assays and in vitro diagnostic analysis.
