On Friday October 18th, the team at Megazyme wanted to give our support to the Irish Cancer Society helping them to continue providing free, nationwide cancer services and research; including the Society’s new collaborative cancer research centre - BREAST PREDICT.
Breast Predict is a ground breaking research project to develop more accurate ways of treating breast cancer patients. They are bringing together the skills and expertise of the top cancer researchers in Ireland to create their first Collaborative Research Centre. Breast Predict involves 30 leading researchers in Ireland working towards a common goal; to better predict what will work for each individual breast cancer patient.
We held a pink day where we all came to work dressed in pink, ate pink cakes and donated to the charity.
